Again and Forever
1st Edition January 2000
(Xlibris Press)
This is a story of life and love and reincarnation. Here is a quote from the book found under "notable quotes on reincarnation."
"Did you ever begin to consider what would happen if everyone on Earth believed in reincarnation? If they believed that all that could happen to them in death would be rebirth in another being, we would have mass suicide every time something went wrong in their lives, along with total disregard for individual actions and of course, chaos."
JON CALLAGHAN, Again and Forever

I was deep into refinishing a dresser when the mailman delivered a gift from a friend. It was "Again and Forever". I read through the prologue and the first chapter, then returned to my dresser. At coffee break time, I again picked up the book. That was the end of refinishing, and even home cooked meals for the next two days. From the "My dearest Maria, Should you read this letter, know that I am incapacitated and not able to communicate..." I was hooked. "Again and Forever" is not just a story. It is a sharing of each character, and each new experience. I cried their tears, I smiled at their joy, and felt their love. I was impatient for the conclusion, then was so sorry the book had ended. I now check regularly, awaiting Jon Callaghan's next book. "Again and Forever", in this readers opinion, is a must read. It is now being shared and enjoyed by my family and friends here in Florida.

Reading Jon Callaghan's latest book, "Again and Forever", is as walking through a garden maze. The tall hedges block what is to come, however, each twist and turn presents the unexpected. At one turn is poignancy and sadness at a bed not yet planted but, at the next turn is the unexpected beauty and breathlessness to hurry on. As the story ends, the reader feels a sense of satisfaction in having walked these paths and sorrow that the trip has ended.
